Am I required to provide official transcripts?

If accepted, you will be required to submit an official transcript for the highest completed degree listed on your application. Failure to submit an official transcript or meet degree requirements may result in your removal from the Quantic program. We recommend official digital transcripts, as they are less likely to get lost in the mail, however, official physical transcripts are also acceptable. Additionally, please directly email us scanned copies of transcripts for all other completed degrees.

What is an official transcript? 

An official transcript is an official copy of a student’s educational record at a post-secondary institution.  It is different from a diploma certificate or degree confirmation letter.  Transcripts usually list all courses taken, final grades received, credits (and honors) earned, degrees or certifications awarded including corresponding dates of enrollment and completion, and includes the registrar's original signature and/or the original seal of the issuing institution.

Official transcripts must be mailed or emailed directly from the degree-granting institution or an authorized third party to the Quantic Registrar.  Emailed transcripts should be sent from the office or department designated by the university to issue/ retain student academic records.  We are unable to accept copies, scans, or forwarded documents from students directly, as they do not meet the standard for official transcripts.  Transcripts and other degree related documents should be saved in PDF format and attached to the email rather than embedded.  Further, please make sure that all documents for each school are compiled in one PDF and saved with an identifiable file name.

You can opt to mail the transcripts yourself, but the transcripts must be in an envelope sealed by the degree-granting institution.

How do I submit my official transcript? 

We accept either official digital transcripts OR official physical transcripts. 

Official digital transcripts should be emailed to  [email protected] either directly from your institution or a secure third party service such as National Student Clearinghouse, OpenCerts, etc.

How do I submit my unofficial transcript(s)?

Unofficial digital transcripts should be emailed to [email protected].  Transcripts and other degree related documents should be saved in PDF format and attached to the email rather than embedded.  Documents should be compiled into one PDF for EACH school, with an identifiable name, and the document should be legible. Documentation with photos, saved in cloud storage (eg. Google Drive links), saved as JPEG or any other inaccessible file format, file sizes over 10MB, poor resolution, missing information, or including any other distracting information to evaluating degree documentation may require follow up or re-submission.

If I have completed multiple degrees and programs, how do I know which one requires an official transcript?

What if my transcript is not in English? 

Option 1: Submit Evaluated and Translated Transcripts Already in Possession

If you have access to an evaluated and translated transcript you can request this document to be submitted directly to Quantic School of Business and Technology. Translated and evaluated transcripts must be submitted by the degree-granting institution itself, the Ministry of Education (or another governing body), a NACES-member, or a trained transcript evaluator fluent in the language of the transcript. We cannot accept documents emailed/mailed directly from you.

Option 2: Facilitate Transcript Evaluation Through Quantic School of Business and Technology

Quantic School of Business and Technology has partnered with Spantranto facilitate evaluation of official transcripts. If you are unable to provide translated transcripts, please email [email protected] and we will provide steps on how to facilitate this process. In general, we require the Certificate/Diploma and Academic Transcripts/Marksheets (in the original language) to facilitate the evaluation.

Only one copy of my Academic Record exists, and it is in my possession. Should I send it to you?

Please do not mail any irreplaceable documents such as your original diploma. We would be happy to work with you to find the best solution to meet the transcript requirement.

What if I can't obtain an official transcript?

Most universities do provide transcripts or diploma supplements to other schools' Registrar Offices as a part of matriculation. We recommend reaching out to a relevant office at your institution to see if they could mail or email Quantic an official copy of your documents. If this is not possible, or if you have any questions, please email [email protected] and we will provide steps on how to facilitate a verification through Spantran.  We require the certificate/diploma and academic transcripts/marksheets (in the original language) to facilitate the evaluation.

What if I can't obtain an official transcript due to COVID19 related closures and restricted movement?

If official transcripts are temporarily unavailable due to COVID-19 restrictions you can submit unofficial transcripts under our COVID-19 transcript exception policy (the scanned copies you sent will suffice).

You must also submit documentation that official transcripts were requested (forwarded email correspondence, etc) and submit official transcripts prior to the anticipated date of graduation in order to receive your diploma and other graduation documentation (e.g., Quantic official transcripts).

What if the name on my transcript does not match my learner record? 
If the name on your transcript does not match your Quantic learner record, please let us know in advance of sending an official transcript for the highest degree earned.

How will I know if you have received my transcript?

Please visit your Quantic Home page, and check the Enrollment section on the right-hand side. Uploaded transcripts will be marked as checked. Once all transcripts and Enrollment requirements are completed, this section will no longer appear. Please note that during high volume periods, it can take 1-2 weeks to upload documents that arrive via mail.

What happens if I fail to submit required transcript documentation?

Failure to have required degree documentation submitted by the end of the twelfth week of enrollment will result in an academic hold, and if continued delinquency occurs, then subsequent removal from the Quantic School of Business and Technology.
