What are the Quantic Conferences?
Our global Quantic Conferences are opportunities to network with fellow classmates and to partake in live group learning activities. Specific agendas will be available on each conference’s website during the registration process, but conference objectives emphasize the opportunity to connect, network, and learn through activities such as case studies, workshops, site visits, and keynote speeches.
Conferences span multiple days and occur multiple times per year. We aim to offer Quantic Conferences in a diverse array of cities around the world. We will announce conference locations and dates as early as possible to allow attendees to plan their schedules well in advance. Past conference locations have included: Washington D.C., Dublin, and Singapore. In this video, a few of our students review how the conferences positively contribute to the student experience. Participation in conferences is encouraged but not required.
What does registration for a Quantic Conference include?
Quantic Conference Registration includes all core programming, including welcome and farewell receptions, case studies, workshops, keynote speeches, site visits, and select meals. Accommodations and travel are not included in the registration fee. Optional excursions, select meals, and Quantic gear, such as t-shirts, are available at extra costs. Included and optional activities will be explicitly stated during the registration process on each event’s website.
Full payment is due at the time of registration. We are unable to accept partial payments or hold conference slots without full payment and registration. Occasionally, scholarships are available on an invitation-only basis.
We understand that unexpected situations can arise. Full refunds are available up to 60 days before each conference. Half refunds are available up to 30 days before each conference. We are unable to provide refunds after that. Please note that once you cancel and/or receive a refund, your conference registration is canceled and your slot will be opened up to someone else.
If the timing or hosting of a conference is impacted by exceptional health and safety concerns or force majeure, we will communicate directly with conference attendees on the next steps and refund information.
Can Quantic help me obtain a visa to a conference?
It is the student’s responsibility to obtain the correct visa to each Quantic Conference location. However, once you register for a conference, Quantic staff can provide you with any necessary documentation confirming your conference registration and status as a student. We can also help you find information on obtaining a visa to each conference location.
For specific information regarding travel to foreign countries, we recommend consulting your local embassy’s website and reviewing their policies prior to registration. Please note that we cannot guarantee that your visa will be approved, nor provide financial assistance during the visa application process.
