Do I need to buy textbooks?
No! At Quantic we don't require any physical textbooks for our degree programs. Instead, we have some recommended online resources that will supplement your main coursework.
Course summaries: Each Quantic course has a pdf summary that covers key terms and concepts. We have compiled all these summaries together into one digital pdf document that can be found in the Library section of your Resources tab. Please note that since this book is only available to enrolled students, you will only have access to view and download it after your cohort's official start date!
Harvard Business Review (HBR): HBR is a great resource for anyone looking to expand their understanding of the business world and practices. Quantic lessons will frequently link to HBR articles for additional reading. While anyone can access three free HBR articles every month, we highly recommend taking advantage of their student discount rate so you can get the most out of this site.
This is also a great way to evaluate if you'll become a long term subscriber (HBR targets C-level executives, leading consultants, and influential researchers). You'll also want to check out HBR's podcasts!
- Library resources: Quantic's library is thrilled to offer our students access to robust research databases and news sources. Additionally, our students receive full access to the New York Times (NYT) while they are enrolled. Keep an eye on your inbox in the third week of your program for additional information about the NYT and a sign-up form!
